When I was doing VBS, I was working with little kinderbeaners. Obviously they can't spell. This is what I saw during the crafts:
~Gob is Gub
~Yoo ar speshull
~Fanks for saving us (I believe that kid was British)

Babysitting
I have finally realized how much attention a 9-year old really needs. I just babysat a girl named Patti, and I promise you, I might be deaf. She just kept talking and talking and TALKING. I guess its better than,
"Hi! How are you?"
"Good."
* pause *
"Okay then."
But oofda.

YUCK
I was looking on Craig's List for an iPod touch, and this is what I saw:
Women seeking men
Men seeking women
Well, I thought that was it. But no!
Women seeking women
Men seeking men
Isn't it a wonderful world we live in?

Not Listening
Over the phone with Rachel:
"Rachel, how are you doing on that shield?" (Homework stuff)
"I'm singing Jar of Hearts."
* pause *
"Did you just hear what I said?"
"No." (Well, at least she was honest.)
"I asked you how it was going on your shield."
"Oh."
"So, how is it?"
"How is what?"
"RACHEL!"
"Wha-at??"
"How. Are. You. Doing. On. Your. Shield?"
"Oh. Good."
After all that, all I got was "good".

Maddie
At my birthday party, we watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (gotta love that movie). Almost everyday at school, I am encountered with:
Maddie: "Where's Milly?"
Me: "In the barn, hunting eggs."
Maddie: "I wish I could hunt eggs."
Me: "I'd love to hunt eggs..."
So der you go den.
